Returns & Exchanges
This Shipping and Returns Policy applies to all Transactions and Products purchased through Gearbox Boutique and form part of the Terms. By completing a Transaction you agree to the terms of this Shipping and Returns Policy. Capitalised terms used in this Shipping and Returns Policy, unless otherwise defined below, have the same meaning as used in the Terms.
Delivery to the shipping address specified in relation to a Transaction; or if delivery to the above address is not possible, delivery to your local post office.
Shipping Time means any specified delivery timeframes displayed on the Site or elsewhere on our website
The costs of Shipping will be displayed when you finalise a Transaction. By completing a Transaction you agree to pay the specified Shipping costs for that Transaction. The packing and Shipping of any Products purchased through Gearbox Boutique will commence upon our receipt of confirmation of your successful payment for the relevant Transaction. We will use our best endeavours to comply with all Shipping Times when Shipping Products, however we can not guarantee that we will be able to adhere to Shipping Times. Gearbox Boutique is not liable for any loss, cost or damage incurred by you or any other party which arises either directly or indirectly from Our inability to comply Shipping Times. Shipping is restricted to addresses within Australia. Pick up of purchased Products is not permitted.
Title and risk
Title and risk in any purchased Products will pass to you on Delivery of the Products.
Gearbox Boutique Refund/Return Policy
Great care is taken when selecting our beautiful range of garments, so you can be confident that you are buying something of exceptional quality. Upon receiving your purchase, we advise you to try your garment/s on immediately to ensure that you have selected the correct size, been sent the correct size and that you are satisfied with your item/s. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your online or in-store selection, we are pleased to offer the following return policy in accordance with The Office of Fair Trading:
If you receive an item that does not fit, a credit or exchange is available on FULL PRICED items ONLY. All items must be returned to the below postal address within 7 days of receipt. ONLY items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL TAGS AND LABELLING STILL ATTACHED will be accepted. If you receive the incorrect item (as per invoice), you are entitled to a FULL REFUND. The refund/return policy only applies to items bought ONLINE and not in store.
Postage and online After Pay fees will NOT be refunded on full priced items that are returned for credit. Postage fees are the customer's responsibility on any items that are exchanged. Returns and exchanges are NOT accepted on jewellery items.
Gearbox Boutique DOES NOT OFFER A REFUND IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND AFTER PLACING / RECEIVING YOUR ORDER. A credit note or exchange will be issued upon receiving any returned items provided the items are of saleable quality and remain in a brand new condition i.e. HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL TAGS AND LABELLING STILL ATTACHED IN ORIGINAL CONDITION.
Credit notes are valid for 3 MONTHS from the date of issue and can be used to purchase any item from our online boutique, as well as our physical store. In the instance of a credit note, you will be issued with a credit note coupon code.
If you believe you have received a faulty item, please contact us immediately for assistance. PLEASE NOTE: It is at the manufacturer's discretion to determine if an item is faulty (which may take some time as the item will have to be returned to the manufacturer for examination). In this instance, you may receive a repair or replacement complimentary. If a repair or replacement is not possible, then you will receive a full refund.
Gearbox Boutique reserves the right to refuse any returned item we believe is not of saleable quality and/or has been worn, altered or washed. Extra shipping and handling charges to return the item to the customer will remain the responsibility of the customer and no exchange or credit note will be issued.
NB: All items are thoroughly checked prior to dispatch in order to ensure they are in perfect condition. We also photograph every item closely prior to dispatching orders. False claims made by any customer regarding the condition of an item upon receipt will not be accepted as an excuse to obtain a refund on the item.
Please be careful when purchasing sale items. As we DO NOT offer EXCHANGES or RETURNS ON SALE ITEMS under any circumstance.
Items may be on sale due to end of line clearance, selected sales or shop soiling.
If dress incurs any shop soiling, it will be out lined in item description.
ABOUT FORMAL WEAR:
All formal gowns on our website are available to order in various colours and sizes. Please contact us to enquire about a certain style. Made To Order gowns take approx. 6-8 weeks and will incur a small surcharge.

ANY CLAIM MUST BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THE ITEM IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE.
If you wish to return/exchange an item, contact us via e-mail or telephone within 7 days of receipt of your purchase. If you contact us by telephone, please call 0415885415 on Monday - Saturday 9:30am - 5pm, Sunday and public holidays 10am - 4pm. All items being returned should be packaged well and sent via registered post. Please return item/s with original tags attached and a copy of your receipt to:
